Stained Glass Suncatcher

An introduction to copper-foil stained glass. Leave with a finished suncatcher built from glass you cut, foiled, and soldered yourself.

3 hours$130 per person

What you'll make

A finished stained glass suncatcher, cut, foiled, and soldered by your own hands, ready to hang in a window and catch the light.

What you'll learn

  • ·Score-and-snap glass cutting: how to read the glass and make it break where you want.
  • ·How to grind cut edges smooth so the foil wraps cleanly and the solder holds.
  • ·Soldering technique: heat, flow, and the hand position that gives you a clean joint.
  • ·How to clean flux residue and care for your finished piece.

What's included

  • Glass pieces in a guided pattern, shaped to your finished design
  • Copper foil, solder, and flux
  • Safety glasses for the session
  • A dedicated soldering station, all your own
  • Brass hanging hardware and a care card for your finished piece

What to bring
